I am so excited about starting the new 2017-2018 school year!!!! Our staff continues to increase our academic expectations and move toward Common Core readiness in the areas of reading, writing and discussing. I believe that as we start the school year, our staff will confidently prepare your child to succeed in high school and college. 

We are continuously raising the standards here at the school so that we are providing students with an educational experience of the highest quality.

Spring Semester Student Tutoring Sessions Begin



Session two of the Afterschool tutoring program will begin on Monday, January 22, 2018. The program has been designed to offer intensive academic tutoring for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students in the areas of Math, Science, English, and History to improve academic achievement. The program hours are 3:30 pm to 4:30 PM. There is limited space in the program and students will be accepted on a first come first served basis.


All students are invited to participate in the program. Please have your child return the completed application with your signature to Ms. Corley in the Main Office immediately.

    • a. Students are allowed to Articulate and set personal learning goals, assist in the development of strategies leveraging technology to achieve them and reflect on the learning

    • process itself to improve learning outcomes.

    • b. Students are provided paths to customize their learning environments in ways that support the learning process.

    • c. Students use technology to seek feedback that informs and improves their practice and to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways.

    • d. Students understand the fundamental concepts of technology operations, demonstrate the ability to choose, use and troubleshoot current technologies and are able to transfer their knowledge to explore emerging technologies
