Hello S.T.E.A.M. Family,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.  

I am excited to introduce myself to our S.T.E.A.M. students and families as your new Magnet Coordinator.

The Stephen M. White S.T.E.A.M. Magnet community has a well-deserved reputation for excellence, and that is due to its students, families, and extraordinary staff. I am proud to be considered a part of this team. Our teachers work tirelessly to deliver a high quality STEAM program that is both challenging and relevant.  Our students are presented with many opportunities to participate in real-world problem solving using 21^stCentury skills with an emphasis on the four Cs: collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. We continue to offer robust elective pathways that reflect all STEAM principles.  Most importantly, we have goal-oriented students and their supportive families who continue to be the most supportive partners in education.  

As many changes and challenges we have faced over the past few years, our commitment to excellence has remained the same. Together we have built and maintained a school community of which we are incredibly proud.
