Horticulture is a semester elective course where students will interact closely with the 2 acre school garden! Horticulture is the study and cultivation of plants for food, landscape, beautification and pleasure. Students get their own space to grow produce and flowers, learn to care for plants, compost, use tools and organic gardening methods to support the natural garden ecosystem.  Gardening students are currently growing zucchini, sunflowers, tomatoes, onions, Celosia, Daylillies and other flowers.
