Enrollment / Inscripción
In order to enroll a student at Stephen M. White MS & STEAM Magnet you must fall under one of the categories below:
- Reside within the boundaries of our school
- Apply and be accepted to a program offered at our school (SAS, Magnet, Dual Language, Open Enrollment)
- Be approved for an intra-district permit (reside within LAUSD boundaries)
- Be approved for an inter-district permit (reside outside of LAUSD boundaries) ONLY OPTION FOR STUDENTS COMING FROM OTHER SCHOOL DISTRICTS

to enroll a student
You will need the following items before registration:
- Proof of address
- Most recent report card
- Birth certificate
- Immunization records: must have proof of 2 MMR, 2 Varicella, 3-4 Polio, 3-5 DPT & 3 Hepatitis B shots
- **Tdap required for 7th grade**
- Covid vaccine for students 12 years old and up
- If applicable: 504 plan, IEP, and/or court documents
The Los Angeles Unified School District requires any one of the following items as proof of residency for enrollment and/or issuing permits:
- Utility Service Bill (electricity, gas, or water/trash)
- Property tax payment receipts
- Home rental/lease agreement
- Official government mail
- Current pay stub
- Voter registration
PROOF OF ADDRESS MUST BE CURRENT (NOT MORE THAN 30 DAYS OLD) AND SHOW PARENT'S NAME AND ADDRESS. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RENT RECEIPTS, CABLE BILLS, CAR REGISTRATION, TELEPHONE BILLS, OR ID/DRIVER'S LICENSE AS PROOF OF ADDRESS.
Para inscribir a un estudiante en Stephen M. White MS & STEAM Magnet necesita estar en una de las categorías mencionadas abajo:
- 1. Vivir dentro de los limites de la escuela
- 2. Aplicar y ser aceptado a un programa que se ofrece en nuestra escuela (SAS, Magnet, Idioma Dual, Inscripción Abierta)
- 3. Ser aprobado para un permiso intradistrital (vivir dentro de los limites de LAUSD)
- 4. Ser aprobado para un permiso entre distritos (vivir fuera de los limites de LAUSD) UNICA OPCION PARA ESTUDIANTES DE OTROS DISTRITOS ESCOLARES

para inscribir a un estudiante
Necesitara lo siguiente antes de la registración:
- Comprobante de domicilio
- Calificaciones mas recientes
- Acta de nacimiento
- Historial de vacunas: necesita tener un comprobante de 2 vacunas de MMR, 2 vacunas de Varicela, 3-4 vacunas de Polio, 3-5 vacunas de DPT & 3 vacunas de Hepatitis B
- **La vacuna de Tdap se necesita para empezar el 7mo grado**
- Vacuna contra el coronavirus para estudiantes de 12 años de edad en adelante.
- Si procede: Plan 504, IEP, y/o documentos de la corte
El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Los Ángeles requiere cualquiera de los siguientes como comprobante de vivienda para inscripciones y/o otorgación de permisos:
- bil de agua, electricidad, o gas
- recibos de pago de casa
- contrato de renta de una vivienda
- correspondencia oficial del gobierno
- talón de cheque actual
- registración para votar
EL COMPROBANTE TIENE QUE SER ACTUAL (CON UNA FECHA NO MÁS DE 30 DÍAS DE EDAD), TENER EL NOMBRE DE UNO DE LOS PADRES Y EL DOMICILIO. NO ACEPTAMOS RECIBOS DE PAGO DE RENTA, BIL DE CABLE, REGISTRACIÓN DE VEHÍCULOS, BIL DE TELÉFONO, O LICENCIA DE CONDUCIR/ TARJETA DE IDENTIFICACIÓN COMO COMPROBANTE DE DOMICILIO.
